Whether you have never touched a surfboard or you have been surfing for years, our coaching adapts to where you are. Every participant is grouped by level, so no one ends up in the wrong session — even if you are travelling with people at a different stage.

First contact with the ocean
Designed for those who have never surfed before. We cover everything from beach safety to catching your first waves, in a supportive and patient environment with small groups.
What you will work on
- Ocean awareness and water safety

- Paddling technique and correct pop-up
- Riding whitewater waves with control
- Building confidence in the water
Our approach
Land drills before entering the water, foam boards for stability, small groups with individual coaching and clear feedback every session.
Building a solid foundation
You have had your first contact with surfing and want to develop consistency. We focus on the technical fundamentals that will support your progression at every level.
What you will work on
- Consistent pop-up with correct foot placement
- Paddling efficiency and board positioning
- Riding whitewater waves with direction and control
- Surf etiquette and basic line-up awareness
- Introduction to steering and first turns
Our approach
Foam board sessions with targeted drills on pop-up, balance, and wave timing. Video feedback to identify and correct technique early.
Into the line-up
The step from whitewater to the line-up is as much mental as it is physical. We focus on building the awareness and ocean reading skills that will make you a safer, smarter and more confident surfer from this point forward.
What you will work on
- Line-up safety and situational awareness
- How to paddle out efficiently using currents and avoiding breaking wave areas
- Reading waves — understanding how they form, break and where to position
- Positioning in the line-up and priority rules
- First green wave rides with correct take-off timing

Strong focus on ocean awareness and wave reading before and during sessions. Real-time coaching in the line-up, surf theory on wave mechanics, currents and line-up dynamics.
Technique, timing and consistency
You are surfing — now let’s make every wave count. We identify the specific aspects that are limiting your progression and build a clear plan to address them.
What you will work on
- Wave selection, positioning and take-off timing
- Bottom turn mechanics and first top turn
- Surfing different spots and wave types
- Improving consistency on both your forehand and backhand
- Surfing crowded line-ups — positioning, priority and decision-making under pressure
- Accelerating progression through regular video analysis

SURF HOUSE
Experimente vistas panorámicas de la Bahía de Papoa en nuestra Casa de Surf al borde del acantilado. Es el refugio ideal para surfistas que buscan comodidad y conexión con habitaciones con vista al mar, una cocina compartida y un ambiente tranquilo.
BEACH HOUSE
Alójate a pocos pasos de la playa principal de Peniche en nuestra acogedora Casa de Playa. Disfruta de vistas al mar, una cocina totalmente equipada y un ambiente relajante, perfecto para desconectar después de un día de surf.
¡Mi experiencia en PKSC fue absolutamente increíble! Como surfista primerizo, no podría haber pedido una mejor introducción a este deporte. Los instructores de surf no solo tenían experiencia, sino que también eran increíblemente amables, lo que hizo que todo el proceso de aprendizaje fuera fluido y agradable. Vine a PKSC para un campamento de una semana con mi hermano y ¡fue el mejor momento de nuestro verano! Nunca habíamos surfeado antes, pero nos divertimos mucho y aprendimos lo básico del surf en solo unos días. Él tiene solo 15 años, pero ya fue capaz de coger algunas olas y surfear hasta la orilla. No hago deporte a diario, así que estaba preocupada por si podría hacerlo, pero los profesores son muy buenos aquí y me ayudaron mucho. Las clases se adaptaron a nuestro nivel de habilidad cada día, lo cual creo que es algo genial. Me dio la confianza para seguir intentándolo y me hizo querer volver el año que viene. 🙂 Es un lugar hermoso para pasar el verano y aprender a surfear, lo recomiendo absolutamente.
He probado varias escuelas y creo que esta es la que mejor me ha ido. Buenas vibraciones de los profesores y un ambiente encantador en el agua. Surfear era mi sueño y se hizo realidad. Gracias, equipo de PKSC, por 5 días geniales que pasamos en Peniche. Nos alojamos en la casa de playa, que está cerca de la escuela PKSC. Entre clases, puedes disfrutar del almuerzo en su cafetería o simplemente tomar el sol en la terraza con una maravillosa vista al océano. ¡Los entrenadores se hicieron cargo de todos los estudiantes y ayudaron a cada uno de ellos a atrapar una ola!
