Winter is Peniche at its best
From November to March the swell is more consistent, the line ups are quieter and the town slows down.
The Winter Packs are made for that season. There is no fixed schedule and no program to follow. You get a private room in one of our houses by the ocean, a board and a wetsuit, and you surf when the conditions are good. We take care of the house and the gear, you take care of the waves.

Our quieter house, a minute’s walk from the beach, with views over Papôa. Upgrade to a room with private bathroom available.

Beach House
Our social house, with a panoramic living room looking over Peniche and the ocean. Closed from 10 January to the end of February.

When you can come
The Winter Packs run from 1 November 2026 to 15 March 2027. At the Surf House they are not available during the New Year’s Camp week (27 December to 3 January), but the Beach House is open over New Year’s for stays of at least one week, so you can still spend it by the sea with us. The Beach House is closed from 10 January to the end of February, so during that period the packs are available at the Surf House only. Looking for a full New Year’s surf week? Good to know
- Your equipmentBoard and wetsuit are handed over at the start of your stay. If you want to swap gear, just let us know in advance.
- CleaningThe house is cleaned every week.
- HeatingHeaters are not included, but they are available as an extra.
- DatesValid from 1 November 2026 to 15 March 2027. At the Surf House, not available during the New Year’s Camp week (27 December to 3 January). The Beach House is available over New Year’s, with a minimum stay of one week.
