New Year’s Camp
(28.12 – 04.01.2026)
Celebrate the New Year at our Surf Camp in Peniche, Portugal – 7 nights in an oceanfront surf house, 5 surf lessons, yoga, skate, and a special New Year’s dinner. Ideal for beginners and intermediate surfers looking for a winter surf trip in Europe.
More than just a surf trip
This isn’t just a holiday, it’s a full surf week with real coaching, a cozy ocean-view house, and a small crew that vibes together. We surf, eat, chill, explore, and learn. No pressure, no crowds, just good waves, good people, and space to really enjoy it.

Small group, real progression
We keep the groups small, so you get personal feedback every session. Whether you’re popping up for the first time or working on turns, we’ll help you level up — with surf theory, video analysis, and lots of time in the water.

Surfskate & Yoga
We use yoga and surf skate to support your surfing. Yoga helps with balance, mobility, and recovery. Surf skate lets you practice turns and flow on land — no paddling needed. Both are fun, light, and super helpful for your progress.

Watch giants in Nazaré
During the week, we’ll take a trip to Nazaré — home of the world’s biggest surfed waves. If conditions are right, we’ll get to see the real thing live. If not, the lighthouse surf museum still gives chills.
What’s Included?
Everything’s taken care of so you can just focus on surfing, relaxing, and enjoying the week. You’ll have space to progress at your own pace, meet good people, and start the year with salty hair and a clear head.
7 nights at the Surf House
Stay in a shared room (2 or 3 people) with ocean views, walking distance to surf spots, markets, and cafés. Feels like home, but by the sea.
5 surf classes (1h40 each)
Surf coaching for beginners and intermediates. Small groups, all gear included, and clear feedback to help you improve.
New Year’s Dinner
We celebrate the new year together with a traditional Portuguese meal. Good food, cozy vibe, and local touches. Drinks not included.

Yoga & Surf Skate
Balance and movement training designed for surfers. One relaxing yoga session and one fun surf skate class during the week.
Surf photo & video analysis
We film your sessions and go over the clips to spot what’s working and what to tweak. One of the best ways to progress.
Trip to Nazaré & Óbidos
Mid-week trip to visit the famous Nazaré big waves and the medieval village of Óbidos. Culture, views, and maybe a few giants.
Where you’ll stay
Our Surf House sits right in front of Papôa Bay, with private rooms, a shared kitchen, and a panoramic living room to watch the waves (or the sunset). It’s relaxed, clean, and feels like staying at a friend’s place — if your friend lived by the sea.

Your home for the week
A drone view of the Surf House, perched right by the ocean in Peniche. You’ll wake up to the sound of waves and have the surf just a short walk away — everything happens within this view.

Bright and comfy twin room
Simple and clean with two single beds and a big sunlit window. Perfect for sharing with a friend or another solo surfer. Easygoing, private, and just the right amount of quiet.

Ocean-view living room
The heart of the house. Chill here after your surf sessions, sip tea at sunset, or just stare at the waves rolling in. Big windows, soft light, and space to unwind.

Room with private balcony
Our favorite sunrise spot. This room has a balcony overlooking the ocean, where you can start the day with salty air and end it watching the sky change colors.

Yes! We welcome first-timers, beginners, and intermediates. The classes are adapted to your level, and the vibe is relaxed — no pressure.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely. Many guests come solo. We’ll match you in a shared room (if needed), and the small group makes it easy to connect with others.
What’s the water and weather like in December?
You can expect mild winter conditions — air temps usually range between 14º and 18ºC, and the water is around 15–16ºC. We provide warm wetsuits, so you’ll be fine in the water. And after your session, the Surf House has a fireplace in the living room — perfect for warming up and relaxing.
What do I need to bring?
Warm clothes for the evenings, swimwear, towel, and whatever you like for down time. We provide all surf gear during classes.
Are meals included?
Only the New Year’s Dinner is included. But there’s a fully equipped kitchen at the Surf House, plus restaurants and supermarkets just a short walk away.
How does the payment work?
You pay 180€ per person to confirm the booking. The rest is paid in cash or transfer when you arrive.
Can I arrive earlier or stay longer?
Yes, no problem! Just let us know your dates and we’ll check availability before or after the camp.
How do I get there?
The easiest way is to fly into Lisbon Airport, then take a bus to Peniche (about 2 hours). It costs around 10–12€, and we’ll pick you up for free at the Peniche bus station.
Need a private airport transfer? We can also arrange one for around 100€.
