Yes, we are right here. Our surf center sits on the sand in front of one of the best waves in Peniche for beginners and intermediates, so you learn to surf where the waves are, not in a van. Grab your board, walk down the steps and you are at the peak. We are a family business and our surf school has been running in Peniche since 2003.

Yes. Our surf school sits right in front of one of the best waves in Peniche for beginners and intermediates, and we pick the spot for your level every day. With a maximum of 5 students per coach, the goal for first timers is to stand up and ride the whitewater on their own by the end of the week.
When is the best time to surf in Peniche?
It depends on your level. June to September brings smaller, friendly waves and warm days, ideal for first timers. April, May, October and November have fun-sized waves that suit beginners and intermediates. December to March brings the most powerful and consistent swells, best for confident surfers.

Yes. Kids from 7 years old who can swim can join private surf lessons, and group lessons are from 14 years old. Families can also surf together, for example 4 adults with 1 or 2 children, with a coach just for the kids.
How do I get from Lisbon to Peniche?
Peniche is about an hour from Lisbon by car on the A8, and there are direct buses from Lisbon to Peniche. Our surf camp packs include a free pick-up from Peniche bus station between 16:00 and 21:00, and we can also arrange a private transfer from Lisbon airport.
Do I need my own surfboard or wetsuit?
No. Boards, wetsuits and leashes are included in our surf camp and surf lessons, with soft boards matched to your level.
Where are you in Peniche?
Our surf school is on the beach at Avenida Monsenhor Bastos, Praia do Cerro. The Surf House is at Avenida Mariano Calado 51 and the Beach House at Avenida Mariano Calado 30, both a few minutes’ walk from the surf school.
