Whether you have never touched a surfboard or you have been surfing for years, our coaching adapts to where you are. Every participant is grouped by level, so no one ends up in the wrong session — even if you are travelling with people at a different stage.

First contact with the ocean
Designed for those who have never surfed before. We cover everything from beach safety to catching your first waves, in a supportive and patient environment with small groups.

- Building confidence in the water
Our approach
Land drills before entering the water, foam boards for stability, small groups with individual coaching and clear feedback every session.
Building a solid foundation
You have had your first contact with surfing and want to develop consistency. We focus on the technical fundamentals that will support your progression at every level.
What you will work on
- Consistent pop-up with correct foot placement
- Paddling efficiency and board positioning
- Riding whitewater waves with direction and control
- Surf etiquette and basic line-up awareness
- Introduction to steering and first turns
Our approach
Foam board sessions with targeted drills on pop-up, balance, and wave timing. Video feedback to identify and correct technique early.
Into the line-up
The step from whitewater to the line-up is as much mental as it is physical. We focus on building the awareness and ocean reading skills that will make you a safer, smarter and more confident surfer from this point forward.

- Line-up safety and situational awareness
- How to paddle out efficiently using currents and avoiding breaking wave areas
- Reading waves — understanding how they form, break and where to position
- Positioning in the line-up and priority rules
- First green wave rides with correct take-off timing

Technique, timing and consistency
You are surfing — now let’s make every wave count. We identify the specific aspects that are limiting your progression and build a clear plan to address them.

- Wave selection, positioning and take-off timing
- Bottom turn mechanics and first top turn
- Surfing different spots and wave types
- Improving consistency on both your forehand and backhand
- Surfing crowded line-ups — positioning, priority and decision-making under pressure
- Accelerating progression through regular video analysis

SURF HOUSE
Erleben Sie Panoramablicke auf die Bucht von Papoa in unserem Surfhaus am Klippenrand. Es ist der ideale Rückzugsort für Surfer, die Komfort und eine Verbindung zum Meer suchen, mit Zimmern mit Meerblick, einer Gemeinschaftsküche und einer friedlichen Atmosphäre.
BEACH HOUSE
Nur wenige Schritte vom Hauptstrand von Peniche entfernt wohnen Sie in unserem gemütlichen Beach House. Genießen Sie Meerblick, eine voll ausgestattete Küche und eine entspannende Atmosphäre, perfekt zum Entspannen nach einem Surftag.
Meine Erfahrung bei PKSC war absolut unglaublich! Als Surfer-Neuling hätte ich mir keine bessere Einführung in den Sport wünschen können. Die Surflehrer waren nicht nur erfahren, sondern auch unglaublich sympathisch, was den gesamten Lernprozess reibungslos und angenehm gestaltete. Die Ausrüstung war erstklassig und der Strand war perfekt gelegen. Dank PKSC habe ich mich komplett ins Surfen verliebt! Egal, ob Sie Anfänger oder erfahrener Surfer sind, dieses Camp ist vielseitig und für alle Könnensstufen geeignet. Ich empfehle PKSC jedem, der ein paar Wellen reiten möchte. Ich werde mein erstes Surf-Abenteuer mit euch immer in Ehren halten. Danke, PKSC!
Ich bin für ein einwöchiges Camp mit meinem Bruder ins PKSC gekommen und es war die beste Zeit unseres Sommers! Wir sind noch nie zuvor gesurft, aber wir hatten viel Spaß und haben in nur wenigen Tagen die Grundlagen des Surfens gelernt. Er ist erst 15, konnte aber schon einige Wellen erwischen und bis zum Ufer surfen. Ich mache nicht jeden Tag Sport, deshalb machte ich mir Sorgen, ob ich es schaffen würde, aber die Lehrer hier sind wirklich gut und haben mir sehr geholfen. Der Unterricht wurde jeden Tag an unser Können angepasst, was meiner Meinung nach eine tolle Sache ist. Das gab mir Selbstvertrauen, weiterzumachen, und ich möchte nächstes Jahr wiederkommen! 🙂 Es ist ein wunderschöner Ort, um den Sommer zu verbringen und Surfen zu lernen. Ich kann es absolut weiterempfehlen.
Ich habe mehrere Schulen ausprobiert und denke, diese hat mir am besten gepasst. Tolle Ausstrahlung von den Lehrern und eine schöne Atmosphäre auf dem Wasser. Ich habe die Theorie am Strand geschätzt, bevor wir ins Wasser gingen. Auf dem Wasser bekam ich nach jedem Versuch Feedback, wie ich mich verbessern kann. Ich plane bereits meinen nächsten Trip nach Peniche und zu PKS 🏄🏻♀️🌊💪
Surfen war mein Traum und er ist in Erfüllung gegangen. Danke, PKSC-Team, für 5 tolle Tage, die wir in Peniche verbracht haben. Wir haben im Beach House gewohnt, das sich in der Nähe der PKSC-Schule befindet. Zwischen den Kursen kann man im Café zu Mittag essen oder einfach auf der Terrasse mit herrlichem Meerblick sonnenbaden. Die Trainer kümmerten sich um alle Schüler und halfen jedem von ihnen, eine Welle zu erwischen!
