Our History

A family legacy, surfing as a passion

João Campos grew up with the ocean at his doorstep. At 18, he opened a small beach bar on Peniche de Cima, which soon became a local hotspot. As times changed, so did the bar—evolving into the first surf school on this side of the bay in 2003.
What started with 10 boards soon grew into a full surf camp, with our first accommodation in 2005, Beach House in 2007, and Surf House in 2011. In 2017, João’s son Rodrigo took over, bringing surf skate, yoga, and high-tech coaching.
Today, we’re more than just a surf camp—we turn beginners into confident surfers, all while keeping our ocean-loving, family spirit alive.
